Gaming Nostalgia 💀

So, I’m replaying Ocarina of Time for the first time in a minute and I’m reminded of how back in the day, I was dying to have certain gaming items in real life (yes, really).

The Tea ☕

I mean, who wouldn’t want to wield the Master Sword or rock a Hylian Shield? It’s giving main character energy, and I’m here for it. The people who actually know things are saying that nostalgia is a powerful force, and I’m living proof - I’m over here replaying a game from 1998 like it’s nobody’s business.

Why This Matters (Or Doesn’t) 👀

This is lowkey a whole thing, and I’m not okay - it’s got me thinking about how our gaming experiences shape our desires and preferences. The fact that I still want a replica of the Master Sword is wild, but it’s also valid.

I mean, it’s a sick sword, and I’d totally slay with it in a real-life battle (delulu, I know).

It’s a real phenomenon, and I’m not alone - just check the comments on any gaming forum, and you’ll see people asking where they can cop a real-life Portal gun or a set of Assassin’s Creed gauntlets. It’s giving rent-free, but I’m here for the nostalgia trip.
