Not gonna lie, I’ve been playing a lot of games lately with incredible 4K textures, but they still feel ‘thin.

’ Then I hopped back into something like Alien: Isolation or Dead Space and realized it’s the audio doing the heavy lifting. (and honestly, same)

The way metal groans, the hum of the machinery, and the echo of footsteps on a grate—it creates a sense of ‘weight’ that no amount of Ray Tracing can fix.
